Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
- 1 cup shredded ham
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 3/4 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt together.
- Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in the shredded ham and cheese.
- Add the milk and mix until just combined.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and gently knead it for a few seconds.
- Roll or pat it to about 1 inch thick and cut out biscuits with a biscuit cutter.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm.
Notes
Store in an airtight container for up to two days, or freeze individually for up to three months.
