Description

Deliciously flaky biscuits filled with savory ham and melted cheese. Perfect for breakfast, snacks, or alongside soups.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
  • 1 cup shredded ham
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 3/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C).
  2. Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt together in a large bowl.
  3. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the shredded ham and cheese.
  5. Add the milk and mix until just combined.
  6. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and gently knead it for a few seconds.
  7. Roll or pat it to about 1 inch thick and cut out biscuits with a biscuit cutter.
  8. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm.
