Description
A spooky Halloween appetizer with gooey brie and red jam ‘blood’.
Ingredients
1 wheel brie cheese
3 tbsp red pepper jelly (or raspberry jam)
2–3 tbsp hot water
Flaky salt (optional)
1 baguette, warmed and sliced
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Place brie on parchment-lined baking sheet.
3. Bake 15–20 minutes until soft but not runny.
4. Mix jam with hot water until smooth.
5. Transfer brie to platter and drizzle with jam ‘blood’.
6. Sprinkle flaky salt if using.
7. Serve with baguette or crackers.
Notes
Substitute raspberry or cherry jam if pepper jelly is unavailable.
Serve with a syringe of extra jam for dramatic Halloween effect.
