Description

A quick and easy stir fry packed with colorful vegetables and tender ground turkey, all coated in a savory teriyaki sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup snap peas
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Optional: sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Sauté the minced garlic and fresh ginger for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Cook the ground turkey in the skillet, breaking it up as it cooks for about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add the sliced red bell pepper, broccoli, snap peas, and carrot to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Pour the teriyaki and soy sauces over the mixture and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to thicken the sauce.
  6. Drizzle sesame oil over the stir-fry and sprinkle with chopped green onions.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

Can easily swap vegetables based on preferences. Store in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days in the refrigerator.
