A delicious and easy-to-make Philly cheesesteak featuring ground beef, onions, bell peppers, and melted provolone cheese.

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 4 slices provolone cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
- Optional: hoagie rolls (for serving)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the sliced onions and bell peppers, cooking until softened.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Season with salt and pepper.
- Cook until the beef is browned and cooked through.
- Place slices of provolone cheese on top, cover the skillet, and allow to melt.
- Serve hot, either on its own or in hoagie rolls.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. If you want to keep it longer, consider freezing the cooked filling without the cheese.
