- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until the onion is translucent.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet. Cook until browned, making sure to drain any excess fat.
- Stir in diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Let the mixture simmer for about 10 minutes to combine the flavors.
- Combine the cooked pasta with the beef mixture, stirring until everything is well mixed.
- Serve topped with grated Parmesan cheese and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
