- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, and elbow macaroni.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until the macaroni is cooked, about 10-12 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- If desired, top with shredded cheese and let it melt before serving.
Notes
For a gluten-free option, substitute elbow macaroni with gluten-free pasta. Feel free to add vegetables or change the pasta type for variations.
