Description

A simple and satisfying dish combining ground beef and tender potatoes for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 medium potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ cup beef broth

Instructions

  1. Peel and dice the potatoes into small cubes.
  2. Finely chop the onion and garlic cloves.
  3. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the chopped onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula as it cooks.
  6. Sprinkle in the salt, black pepper, and paprika; stir to combine.
  7. Add the diced potatoes to the skillet and mix well with the beef mixture.
  8. Pour in the beef broth and stir to combine.
  9. Cover the skillet with a lid and reduce the heat to low. Let the mixture simmer for about 15-20 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.
  10. Check the seasoning and adjust salt and pepper if needed.
  11. Once the potatoes are cooked through, remove from heat and serve hot.

Notes

For best results, cut potatoes into small, uniform pieces and allow the dish to simmer for full flavor melding.
