- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 pita bread pockets
- 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 cup cucumber, diced
- 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/4 cup red onion, diced
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
- While the beef is cooking, prepare the lemon garlic sauce by mixing yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Once the beef is cooked, remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- Stuff each pita pocket with the seasoned beef, crumbled feta, chopped parsley, diced cucumber, cherry tomatoes, and red onion.
- Drizzle the creamy lemon garlic sauce inside each pita before serving.
