Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 slices of provolone cheese
- 4 burger buns
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the onions and bell peppers. Cook until they are caramelized, stirring occasionally.
- Add the ground beef along with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until the beef is browned and fully cooked.
- Place slices of provolone cheese on top of the beef mixture. Cover the skillet briefly to let the cheese melt well.
- Serve the beef mixture hot on toasted burger buns. Enjoy!

For added flavor, lightly toast the burger buns before serving.
