- 1 lb beef sirloin, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parsley for garnish
- Egg noodles or rice for serving
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the chopped onions and minced garlic; sauté until softened, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the sliced beef; cook until browned, around 4-5 minutes. Make sure not to crowd the pan for better browning.
- Stir in the sliced mushrooms and cook until they release their juices, about 5 minutes.
- Pour in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce; bring the mixture to a simmer.
- Reduce the heat to low and stir in the sour cream; cook until heated through, around 2-3 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve over cooked egg noodles or rice, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
For best results, avoid overcrowding the pan and use fresh ingredients.
