- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 1 cup butter
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate ganache (optional for drizzling)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
- Combine the chocolate cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs in a large bowl. Mix until smooth and evenly blended.
- Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans and bake for about 30 to 35 minutes. Check for doneness with a toothpick.
- Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for about 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Beat the butter in a bowl until creamy for the marshmallow frosting. Gradually add the powdered sugar and mix until smooth.
- Stir in the vanilla extract and fold in the mini marshmallows.
- Assemble the cake by placing one layer on a serving plate. Spread marshmallow frosting and sprinkle graham cracker crumbs.
- Place the second layer on top and frost the top and the sides with remaining frosting. Drizzle with chocolate ganache if using.
- Decorate with additional mini marshmallows and graham cracker crumbs.
- Slice the cake and enjoy!
