- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 can coconut-pecan frosting
- 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat your oven according to cake mix instructions. Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until well combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for the time specified on the cake mix box.
- Once baked, remove from the oven and let cool for about 10 minutes.
- Use a fork to poke holes all over the cooled cake.
- Heat the coconut-pecan frosting in a saucepan over low heat until it’s slightly melted.
- Pour the warm frosting over the cake, ensuring it seeps into the holes.
- Top with shredded coconut and chopped pecans.
