Description
Deliciously crispy garlic Parmesan French fries made easily in an air fryer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 large russet potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the potatoes: Wash the russet potatoes thoroughly, peel if preferred, and cut into thin strips, about ¼ inch thick.
- Soak the potatoes: Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
- Dry and season: Drain and pat the potatoes dry. In a large bowl, combine the dried potato strips, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and half of the grated Parmesan cheese. Mix well until evenly coated.
- Air fry the fries: Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place seasoned fries in a single layer and cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking halfway through.
- Add the topping: Once cooked, transfer fries back to the bowl, sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese and parsley, and toss gently.
- Serve and enjoy: Transfer fries to a serving plate and enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce!
Notes
These fries are a healthier alternative to traditional frying. Make sure to soak the potatoes for the crispiest fries.
