Description

A delightful dish combining tender chicken, rotini pasta, and creamy Alfredo sauce, topped with melty cheese and crispy breadcrumbs.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb rotini pasta (cooked and drained, reserve 1 cup pasta water)
  • 3 cups cooked chicken (diced or shredded)
  • 2 (15 oz) jars Alfredo sauce
  • 1 cup reserved pasta water
  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • ½ cup seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • Chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook rotini until al dente. Reserve one cup of pasta water, then drain.
  3. In a large bowl, combine pasta, chicken, Alfredo sauce, pasta water, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan over the pasta. Mix breadcrumbs with melted butter and sprinkle on top.
  6. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and lightly golden.
  7. Let rest for 5 minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.

Notes

Cook pasta al dente to prevent it from becoming mushy during baking. This dish can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
