Ingredients

  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until they start to brown.
  4. Add the trimmed green beans and sauté for another 5-7 minutes, or until they are tender-crisp.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve warm as a side dish.
