- 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until they start to brown.
- Add the trimmed green beans and sauté for another 5-7 minutes, or until they are tender-crisp.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve warm as a side dish.
