Description

Soft, fluffy dinner rolls infused with garlic butter flavor, perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm milk (105°F)
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg (room temperature)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter (softened)
  • 4 tbsp melted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley or chives
  • ¼ tsp sea salt

Instructions

  1. Pour warm milk into a mixing bowl. Stir in sugar and yeast, then let it sit for 10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add melted butter and beaten egg to the yeast mixture. Slowly mix in the flour and salt until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead on a floured surface for 8 to 10 minutes or in a mixer for 5 minutes on medium speed.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a towel, and let it rise in a warm spot for about 1 to 1½ hours.
  5. Punch down the dough gently to release air. Divide it into 12 equal pieces and shape each piece into a smooth ball.
  6. Cover the rolls and let them rest for 30 to 40 minutes.
  7. Preheat your oven to 375°F and bake for 18 to 20 minutes or until the tops are golden brown.
  8. While still warm, brush generously with the garlic butter glaze.

Notes

For a shiny finish brush the rolls while hot. Store them in a container to keep soft.
