Ingredients

  • 20–24 jumbo pasta shells
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1½ cups Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup ricotta cheese
  • Extra shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Chopped parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta Shells: Bring a large pot of salted water to boil, then add the jumbo pasta shells and cook until tender (9-11 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  2. Make the Garlic Butter Chicken: In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat, then add minced garlic and cook until fragrant (1-2 minutes). Stir in cooked chicken, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat.
  3. Prepare the Alfredo Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine Alfredo sauce, ricotta, Parmesan, and mozzarella until smooth. Fold in garlic butter chicken mixture gently.
  4. Assemble the Stuffed Shells: Spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce in a greased baking dish, then fill each shell with the creamy mixture and place seam-side up in the dish.
  5. Bake Until Bubbly: Sprinkle extra mozzarella over the top and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Let the dish rest for about 5 minutes before serving for easier slicing. Always salt your pasta water.
