Ingredients
Scale
- 20–24 jumbo pasta shells
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1½ cups Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup ricotta cheese
- Extra shredded mozzarella cheese
- Chopped parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta Shells: Bring a large pot of salted water to boil, then add the jumbo pasta shells and cook until tender (9-11 minutes). Drain and set aside.
- Make the Garlic Butter Chicken: In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat, then add minced garlic and cook until fragrant (1-2 minutes). Stir in cooked chicken, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat.
- Prepare the Alfredo Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine Alfredo sauce, ricotta, Parmesan, and mozzarella until smooth. Fold in garlic butter chicken mixture gently.
- Assemble the Stuffed Shells: Spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce in a greased baking dish, then fill each shell with the creamy mixture and place seam-side up in the dish.
- Bake Until Bubbly: Sprinkle extra mozzarella over the top and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
Let the dish rest for about 5 minutes before serving for easier slicing. Always salt your pasta water.
