- 1 cup white rice
- 1 can creamy French onion soup
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 cups shredded cheese (e.g., cheddar or Swiss)
- 1 onion, diced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
- Stir in the rice, French onion soup, and beef broth.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish, cover with shredded cheese, and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
