- 2 pounds frozen hash browns
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup French fried onions
- 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine frozen hash browns, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and green onions in a large bowl until well mixed.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until bubbly and lightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and top with French fried onions.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the onions are crispy.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For a twist, add cooked bacon, broccoli, or different types of cheese.
