Description

Savory roll ups filled with deli roast beef and gooey cheese, served with a rich au jus for dipping.


Ingredients

  • 8 large flour tortillas
  • 1 lb deli roast beef, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 2 cups water
  • Optional: chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Lay the tortillas flat. Evenly layer the roast beef over each tortilla, then sprinkle generously with shredded cheese.
  3. Roll each tortilla tightly around the filling and place seam-side down in the prepared baking dish.
  4. In a small bowl, mix melted butter with garlic powder and onion powder. Brush the mixture evenly over the tortillas.
  5. Bake for 18–22 minutes, until the tortillas are golden brown and the cheese is fully melted.
  6. While the roll ups bake, prepare the au jus using the gravy mix and water according to package directions.
  7. Remove from the oven, let rest briefly, then slice in half if desired. Garnish with parsley and serve warm with au jus.

Notes

For the best texture, serve immediately after baking. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3-4 days.
