Description

A delightful twist on the classic French dip sandwich featuring fluffy biscuits, savory roast beef, and melted provolone cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound roast beef, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 container canned biscuits (8-count)
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a medium saucepan and heat over medium.
  3. Add the sliced roast beef and let simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Prepare the biscuit dough by separating it into individual pieces.
  5. Assemble sliders on a baking sheet with half the biscuit pieces, load with beef and top with provolone cheese, then place the other half on top.
  6. Brush the tops with melted butter mixed with Italian seasoning.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  8. Serve warm with a bowl of beef broth for dipping.

Notes

Don’t overcook the beef, use quality roast beef, and don’t skip the garlic for flavor.
