Description

Delicious bite-sized sliders filled with juicy roast beef, melted provolone cheese, and served with a warm au jus for dipping.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb thinly sliced roast beef
  • 8 slider rolls
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, garlic powder, and onion powder together.
  3. Brush this mixture on the cut sides of the slider rolls.
  4. Place the slider rolls on a baking sheet and toast them in the oven for about 5 minutes, or until golden brown.
  5. In a saucepan, combine beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and black pepper. Heat it over medium heat until simmering.
  6. Layer the sliced roast beef on the bottom half of the toasted slider rolls, then top with provolone cheese.
  7. Cover with the top half of the rolls and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
  8. Serve the sliders warm with a small bowl of au jus for dipping.

Notes

For a vegetarian option, substitute roast beef with sautéed mushrooms or roasted vegetables.
