- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 1 wheel brie cheese
- 1 cup cranberry sauce
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Fresh thyme (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut into 2-3 inch squares.
- Place a small piece of brie in the center of each square and add a spoonful of cranberry sauce on top.
- Fold the pastry over the filling and pinch the edges to seal.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the sealed pastry bites on it.
- Beat an egg in a small bowl and brush the tops of the bites with the egg wash.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Sprinkle fresh thyme on top if desired, serve warm, and enjoy!
Notes
Do not overfill the bites with cranberry sauce to prevent leaking. Ensure pastry edges are well sealed.
