Description

A comforting dish that combines classic meatloaf flavors with a delicious surprise of hard-boiled eggs.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound Ground beef
  • 1 pound Ground pork
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 2 Eggs (raw)
  • 1 Onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 4 Hard-boiled eggs (peeled)
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • Ketchup or barbecue sauce (optional for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, raw eggs, chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and milk. Mix until well combined.
  3. On a baking sheet, shape half of the meat mixture into a rectangle.
  4. Place the hard-boiled eggs in the center of the meat rectangle and cover with the remaining meat mixture, sealing the edges.
  5. Optionally, spread ketchup or barbecue sauce on top.
  6. Bake for about 60 minutes or until cooked through.
  7. Let it rest before slicing and serve.

Notes

Do not overmix the meat mixture, and seal the edges well to prevent leakage during baking.
