A delightful seafood lasagna featuring a creamy béchamel sauce, fresh seafood mix, and layers of rich cheeses.
Ingredients

- 30 g unsalted butter
- 20 g all-purpose flour
- 480 ml whole milk
- 50 g Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
- ½ teaspoon fine salt
- 280 g ricotta cheese
- 60 g mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- ½ teaspoon fine salt
- 450 g seafood mix (shrimp, scallops, squid, or similar)
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon fine salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 225 g fresh lasagna noodles
- 60 g mozzarella cheese, shredded
- Additional Parmesan cheese, for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Lightly grease a 23 × 33 cm baking dish and set it aside.
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in the milk and continue cooking until the sauce thickens. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and remove from heat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, shredded mozzarella, beaten egg, dried parsley, and salt. Mix until smooth and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seafood mix, salt, pepper, and dried parsley. Sauté for about 3 minutes.
- Spread a thin layer of béchamel sauce on the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Layer with lasagna noodles, a third of the cheese filling, a third of the seafood, followed by a third of the béchamel sauce. Repeat twice. Finish with béchamel sauce and sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
- Bake uncovered for 35 minutes until golden and bubbly. Allow to rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Notes
For the best results, use fresh seafood and allow the lasagna to rest before serving to maintain its shape.
