- 1 sleeve graham crackers (about 9 sheets)
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Spread the graham crackers evenly on the baking sheet.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the brown sugar, vanilla extract, and salt to the melted butter. Stir until the mixture is boiling. Boil for 2-3 minutes without stirring.
- Pour the caramel mixture over the graham crackers, spreading it evenly.
- Sprinkle the chopped pecans over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, until bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let cool completely.
- Once cooled, break into pieces and enjoy.
Notes
For a different flavor, consider adding chocolate chips or a pinch of cinnamon.
