- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 cups elbow pasta
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add the ground beef and break it up as it cooks, allowing it to brown nicely.
- Once the beef is nearly cooked, add the onion, garlic, and chopped bell pepper to the pot. Stir until softened, about 3-5 minutes.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes, beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and elbow pasta.
- Bring the mixture to a boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the pasta is cooked al dente.
- Taste the dish and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper to your preference.
