Ingredients
Scale
- 2 Tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 Tablespoon light brown sugar, packed
- 1 Tablespoon granulated sugar
- 3 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 Tablespoons semi-sweet chocolate chips
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- â…› teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

- Gently fold in the all-purpose flour until just incorporated, being careful not to overmix.
- Gently fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
- Microwave on high power for 60-90 seconds. Start with 60 seconds and add 10-second intervals if needed, until the edges are set and the center is slightly soft.
- Let the cookie rest in the mug for 1-2 minutes to continue cooking from residual heat and to cool down.
- Serve warm, topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream if desired.
