Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 lb ground pork
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, milk, egg, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl.
  2. Shape the mixture into 1.5-inch balls. You should get about 20 meatballs from this recipe.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the meatballs in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan.
  4. Brown the meatballs for about 6–7 minutes, turning occasionally to cook all sides evenly.
  5. Simmer in marinara sauce for 10 minutes or bake in the oven at 375°F for 10–12 minutes until fully cooked.
  6. Serve the meatballs hot or allow them to cool and store for later use.
