Description

A quick yet nutritious dish that combines the goodness of broccoli with the comfort of pasta, perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz Pasta (Your choice)
  • 2 cups Broccoli Florets
  • 2 cloves Garlic (Minced)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • Grated Parmesan Cheese for serving (optional)
  • Red Pepper Flakes for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, around 8-10 minutes.
  2. With about 3 minutes left in the pasta cooking time, add the broccoli florets to the pot.
  3. Drain the pasta and broccoli together in a colander.
  4. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Add the drained pasta and broccoli to the skillet, tossing everything to combine.
  6. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes to taste, then toss again.
  7. Serve warm, topped with grated Parmesan cheese and additional red pepper flakes if desired.

Notes

Adding broccoli minutes before pasta is done keeps it crunchy. Salt the boiling water for enhanced flavor. Watch the garlic to prevent burning.
