Ingredients

- 8 oz pasta
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente.
- While the pasta cooks, steam or blanch the broccoli until tender, about 5 minutes.
- In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Drain the pasta and add it to the pan with the sautéed garlic and broccoli.
- Toss everything together and add salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, topped with Parmesan cheese if desired.
Notes
For added nutrition, consider using whole grain pasta. Adjust seasonings and toppings to your preference.
