- 1½ cups heavy cream, very cold
- ½ cup crushed candy canes
- Whipped cream or mint sprigs for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Crust: Mix the crushed chocolate cookies with the melted butter and press into a 9-inch pie plate. Chill for 30 minutes.
- Mix the Filling Base: Beat the softened cream cheese until smooth, then mix in the powdered sugar and peppermint extract until fluffy.
- Whip the Cream: Whip the very cold heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Fold and Assemble: Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture and spread into the chilled crust.
- Chill and Finish: Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight. Before serving, sprinkle with crushed candy canes and garnish if desired.
