Ingredients

  • 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • ½ jar Alfredo sauce (16 oz jar)
  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • ÂĽ cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Cook the Chicken: Place chicken in a pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer until cooked through. Drain and cut into bite-size pieces.
  2. Prepare the Pasta: Cook pasta in salted water until just tender. Drain well to remove excess moisture.
  3. Mix the Casserole: Combine pasta, chicken, Alfredo sauce, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, and half the mozzarella in a large bowl.
  4. Assemble: Transfer mixture to a greased casserole dish. Top with remaining mozzarella and Cheddar cheese.
  5. Bake: Bake at 350°F until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes after baking to set and slice cleanly. You can add cooked broccoli or other vegetables for a nutrient boost.
