Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb beef flank steak, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce

- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar

Instructions
- Begin by slicing the beef flank steak into thin strips against the grain.
- In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, rice vinegar, and sesame oil until the brown sugar dissolves.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the sliced beef for about 2 minutes until browned.
- Pour the teriyaki sauce over the beef and stir continuously until well-coated and sauce begins to bubble, about 3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions.
- Serve over steamed rice or noodles.
Notes
Avoid overcooking the beef to keep it tender. Adjust the sweetness of the sauce as per your preference.
