Description

A comforting dish combining beef and noodles that’s perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups uncooked egg noodles
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 23 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil salted water in a large pot, add egg noodles and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef and chopped onions until beef is browned and onions are soft. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and Italian seasoning; cook for 1 minute.
  4. Sprinkle flour into the mixture; stir constantly for 1-2 minutes. Slowly pour in beef broth, stirring until smooth. Simmer for 5-10 minutes until thickened.
  5. Add cooked noodles to the skillet, toss gently with beef mixture, and season with salt and pepper. Serve immediately.

Notes
