Description

An easy banana pudding recipe inspired by Paula Deen’s Southern classic — creamy, rich, and made with layers of vanilla wafers, bananas, and whipped topping.

Ingredients

Scale

1 box vanilla wafers

68 ripe bananas

1 package (8 oz) cream cheese

1 can (14 oz) condensed milk

1 box (5 oz) instant vanilla pudding

2 cups cold milk

1 container (12 oz) whipped topping

Instructions

1. Whisk pudding mix with milk until thick.

2. Beat cream cheese until smooth, add condensed milk.

3. Fold in pudding mixture and whipped topping.

4. Layer wafers, bananas, and pudding mixture in dish.

5. Repeat and top with whipped topping.

6. Chill 4+ hours before serving.

Notes

Use lemon juice on bananas to prevent browning.

Add peanut butter or chocolate layers for a twist.

Store covered in fridge up to 3 days.
