- 1 box of vanilla cake mix
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup of water
- 1 small box of Jell-O (any flavor)
- 1 cup of sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup of whipped topping
- Food coloring (optional)
- Sprinkles (for decoration)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven according to the cake mix package instructions. Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Combine the cake mix with the eggs and water in a large bowl. Mix well until smooth, then pour into the prepared baking pan.
- Bake the cake as directed on the package. Start checking for doneness with a toothpick.
- Cool the cake for about 10 minutes after baking, then poke holes in the surface with the end of a wooden spoon.
- Mix the Jell-O with 1 cup of boiling water until dissolved, then combine with the sweetened condensed milk.
- Pour the Jell-O mixture over the poked cake, ensuring it seeps into the holes.
- Cover the cake with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
- Spread the whipped topping over the cake before serving. Optionally, mix in food coloring.
- Cut the cake into squares, serve chilled, and enjoy!
