Description

A delightful dish that combines rich flavors of meats, cheese, and herbs in a flaky crust, perfect for Easter or year-round.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pre-made flaky pie crust
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup cooked meats (ham, sausage, or your choice)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix ricotta cheese, cooked meats, Parmesan cheese, eggs, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and parsley until well combined.
  3. Place the pie crust in a pie dish and pour the meat mixture into the crust.
  4. Cover with another pie crust or leave it open-faced if preferred.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is set.
  6. Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Consider pre-baking the crust for a flakier texture and choose high-quality meats for the best flavor.
