Description

A creamy and visually appealing dessert perfect for celebrating Easter.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Colorful candy eggs for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Combine graham cracker crumbs, 1/2 cup sugar, and melted butter in a bowl. Mix well and press this mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to form the crust.
  3. Beat the cream cheese in a large mixing bowl until it’s smooth and creamy. Gradually add 1 cup sugar and vanilla, mixing well.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed until just combined. Stir in the sour cream and salt.
  5. Pour the cheesecake filling over the crust and smooth the top with a spatula.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center jiggles slightly.
  7. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool inside with the door slightly ajar for 1 hour.
  8. Refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results.
  9. Decorate the top with vibrant candy eggs to complete the festive look.

Notes

Ensure ingredients are at room temperature for best mixing results. Avoid overmixing to prevent a dense cheesecake.
