- 8 ounces Cremini Mushrooms
- 1 medium Onion
- 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 cup Chicken Broth (low-sodium)
- 1 cup Full-Fat Sour Cream
Instructions
- Prepare the chicken by slicing into thin strips and seasoning with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Dredge the chicken strips in flour to coat on all sides.
- Sauté the chicken in a skillet with olive oil and butter until golden brown (5-7 minutes), then set aside.
- Cook the onions and mushrooms in the same skillet until translucent (about 5 minutes).
- Add Dijon mustard and Worcestershire sauce, cooking for an additional minute.
- Create the sauce by pouring in chicken broth and simmering for 2-3 minutes.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and stir to coat with sauce.
- Finish by mixing in sour cream and gently heating for 2 minutes without boiling.
- Serve over egg noodles, rice, or your choice of side.
