Description
A unique spread that combines the rich taste of coffee with sweetness, perfect for toast or desserts.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup brewed coffee (strongly brewed for best flavor)
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons pectin
Instructions
- Start by brewing a cup of strong coffee. Make sure it’s hot and fresh for the best flavor.
- In a medium-sized pot, combine the brewed coffee and sugar. Stir the mixture over medium heat until the sugar completely dissolves.
- Once the sugar has dissolved, add the pectin to the pot. Keep stirring until the mixture starts to boil.
- Allow the mixture to boil for about 2-3 minutes. This helps to thicken the jam.
- Remove the pot from heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
- Pour the hot coffee jam into sterilized jars. Seal them tightly.
- Let the jars cool completely at room temperature before storing them in the fridge.
Notes
Store the jam in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 weeks. Freeze for longer storage.
