- 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- 1 cup chopped corned beef
- 1 cup sauerkraut, drained and finely chopped
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
- Sliced rye bread or crackers for serving
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, blend softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth and creamy.
- Stir in shredded Swiss cheese until evenly incorporated.
- Chop corned beef and add it along with the drained and chopped sauerkraut. Mix until combined.
- In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and smoked paprika to create a seasoning paste.
- Add the seasoning paste into the dip mixture and stir until well blended.
- Transfer the mixture to a crockpot and spread it evenly. Set the crockpot to low heat.
- Cover the crockpot and cook for 2 to 3 hours, stirring occasionally, until hot and bubbly.
- Serve warm with slices of rye bread or crackers.
Notes
For best results, use high-quality ingredients and ensure the cream cheese is fully softened. You can also prepare the mixture a day in advance and store it in the fridge before cooking.
