Description

A delightful slow-cooked dish that combines tender chicken with tangy lemon and salty capers, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons capers
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Lemon slices, for serving

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. Add the lemon juice, chicken broth, capers, and minced garlic on top of the chicken.
  3. Cover the crockpot with its lid and cook on low for 300 minutes (5 hours).
  4. Once cooking time is complete, serve the chicken hot with lemon slices on the side.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator, or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat with a splash of chicken broth to avoid drying out.
