Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 2 celery stalks, sliced
  • 3 cups egg noodles
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. Add the chicken broth, onion, carrots, celery, garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cook on low for 360-480 minutes or high for 180-240 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
  4. Remove the chicken breasts, shred them, and return to the slow cooker.
  5. Add the egg noodles and cook for an additional 15-20 minutes until noodles are tender.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
