- 3 pounds apples, peeled, cored, and chopped
- ¼ cup honey, plus more to taste
- 1 cinnamon stick
- ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1 small lemon, divided (juice and zest)
Instructions
- Prepare the Apples: Peel, core, and chop the apples into small pieces.
- Add Ingredients: Place chopped apples in the crockpot with honey, cinnamon stick, pumpkin pie spice, and juice from half of the lemon. Stir well.
- Cook: Cover and set the crockpot to LOW for 6–8 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.
- Mash or Blend: Remove the cinnamon stick and use a potato masher or immersion blender to achieve desired consistency.
- Taste and Adjust: Adjust sweetness with more honey or lemon juice if desired.
- Cool and Serve: Let cool slightly before serving warm or chilled.

Store in the refrigerator for up to a week or freeze for up to six months.
