Description

A tender and juicy BBQ pulled chicken recipe made effortlessly in a crock pot, perfect for sandwiches or as a topping.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Buns for serving

Instructions

  1. Place the sliced onion at the bottom of the crock pot.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. Place the chicken on top of the onions.
  4. Pour the BBQ sauce and chicken broth over the chicken.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 360 minutes or on high for 240 minutes.
  6. Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks and mix it with the sauce.
  7. Serve on buns with extra BBQ sauce if desired.
