Description
Delightful french toast rolls filled with a sweet strawberry cream cheese mixture, crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside.
Ingredients

- 4 slices of bread
- 1 cup cream cheese
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, pureed
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Butter or oil for frying
- Cinnamon sugar (optional)
Instructions
- Mix the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and pureed strawberries in a bowl.
- Remove the crusts from the bread slices.
- Flatten each slice of bread with a rolling pin.
- Spread a layer of the strawberry cream mixture on each slice.
- Roll up the slices tightly.
- Whisk together the egg, milk, and vanilla extract in another bowl.
- Dip each bread roll into the egg mixture.
- Heat butter or oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Fry the rolls until they are golden brown on all sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Sprinkle optionally with cinnamon sugar before serving.
Notes
Serve warm for the best experience. Leftovers can be refrigerated or frozen.
