- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and grease a baking dish.
- Pat the chicken thighs dry using paper towels.
- Drizzle the chicken thighs with olive oil and toss to coat.
- Mix the salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and thyme in a small bowl.
- Rub the spice blend over all sides of the chicken thighs.
- Arrange the seasoned chicken thighs skin-side up in the prepared baking dish.
- Bake uncovered for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 175°F (80°C).
- Switch to broil for an additional 2 to 3 minutes for extra crispiness.
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For best results, do not skip drying the chicken and ensure to space them evenly in the baking dish.
