- 2 cups corned beef, chopped
- 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
- 1 cup sauerkraut, drained and chopped
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- Oil for frying, as needed
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the chopped corned beef, shredded Swiss cheese, drained and chopped sauerkraut, softened cream cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix everything together until well blended.
- Form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Roll each ball in breadcrumbs until fully coated.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the balls in batches for about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove the balls and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- Serve hot as an appetizer.
Notes
Ensure oil is at the right temperature to avoid greasy balls. Optionally, you can bake them for a healthier version.
